Full Day $60 per board

Rental includes board, paddle, life jacket, and a mini lesson to get you up on your feet and paddling.

It was a beautiful weekend in Indy!!  After listening to the uneventful bump day at the Indy 500 we decided to take the boards out and give them a try.  We decided to go to a little pond and it was the perfect setting to just getting out and relaxing on the boards!!  The three boards we tried out were the SUP ATX 11' LR8 Pink, SUP ATX LR5 Blue, and the 11'6" OUTER HARBOR.  All three boards were quite enjoyable!

This is the SUP ATX LR5 Blue board.  This board felt very stable even with my 6 year old riding with me.  I was also impressed with the speed you could achieve.  Guess I had speed on my mind since the Indy 500 is just around the corner!!  :)

This is the 11'6" Outer Harbor board.  This is a great board for cruising out on the water.  There are even cargo tie down anchors to use to strap on your gear.  It also has a great retro look to it! 

I must admit this was my favorite!  This is the SUP ATX 11' LR8 Pink board.  For starters, pink is my color, but this was a very stable board and speedy as well!  My 6 year old had to get in on the action and even he was able to paddle us both around! 

We had such an enjoyable day on the water!!  We were hanging out with friends and family and letting everyone demo the boards.

So we have said why we got started in the SUP biz, why we think you should try SUP, and a quick how to...so now let's rock and roll!

Our first shipment of boards will be in very soon!!  Very exciting for us! We have a couple of options for ya.  If you are interested in rentals we've got that covered.  You let us know where you would like us to bring the boards and we will be there.  Board, paddle, and life jacket will be provided.  OR...if ya want your very own fabulous SUP board we can do that too!

As I have been so excited to spread the word about this new little company many of my friends are like how do you do this anyway?  Is it hard?  So I thought I would share this video I found on You Tube.  Hopefully in the near future we will have videos of our own to share, but for now enjoy the cool dude with the cool accent! 

It really isn't hard.  The video doesn't show how to get on and get started on the board.  The best way for newbies is to start out on your knees and paddle.  Then when you feel comfortable stand up!  It's that easy.  The more relaxed you are on the board the better.  And what's the worst thing that could happen, you fall in and get wet.  It's like riding a horse, get right back on.  :)

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Since we are just starting this blog I thought my first Ten on Tuesday would be, Why SUP?  These are reasons why I think it is fun to SUP...and who am I?  Just someone who enjoys Stand Up Paddle Boarding!  :)

1.  Great for families and really any age.  The great thing about SUP is if you have just one board, your kiddo can just ride along with you.  Then when they start to dig being out on the water, they can get their own board!  How cute would that be?

2.  Let's Get Physical!  SUP is a great low impact core workout.  You'll use muscles you didn't even know you have while giving your core a boost. 

3.  Just add a boat.  Want a thrill while paddling on flat water?  Have a boat get just ahead of you and catch a never ending wave behind the boats wake.

4.  Man's Best Friend.  Where would we be without our loving, faithful, furry friend.  If your dog loves water, they will love to Stand Up Paddle Board with you!  I would definitely recommend a doggie life jacket...at least until they get used to it!

5.  It just looks cool!  I know in Indiana you just don't see that many people doing Stand Up Paddle Boarding...YET!  :)  It's definitely a conversation starter.  Be one of the first out on your lake!

6.  Good friends, good conversation.  I know from many years of boating experience people like to tie off boats and just chill and relax.  Get a group together and paddle out in the lake and when you need a rest just sit down or cannon ball off your board and just relax. 

7.  Explore! SUP allows you to paddle into areas of water that maybe your boat will not allow.  As an owner of an inboard boat, there are just some places we cannot go.  Now you can paddle wherever your little heart desires! 

8.  Where will SUP take you?  Going on a nice relaxing vacay?  Take your board with you!  There's always cool lakes and rivers that need exploring. Whether your vacay takes you to surfing paradise in Fiji or to relaxing lakes in the next state...find where you can paddle and get another view of the sights.

9.  Tricky!  Once you find your comfort zone in SUP, why not try learning some new tricks!  Like wake surfing mentioned above or doing 360s, or whatever tickles your fancy.

10.  And finally, WHY NOT - YOLO!  You only live once!

Just got listed on Paddling.net as an official location in the Indianapolis area for SUP! It must be official!

This is exciting news but how did all this come to be?  It started with just a simple, "Hey!  I wanna learn how to Stand Up Paddle Board."  I had my reasons as to why I wanted to try this.  For starters, SUP looks really cool and I'm all about cool accessories!  I thought how cool would it be to drive around Indy with my SUP board on top of my car??  :)  Then decided it would be really cool if I actually knew what I was doing!  After the first time I got on the board and paddled my first paddle I was hooked.  This was awesome!  Nature has always had a special place in my heart and this just felt right.  I could enjoy all the sights and sounds around me at whatever pace I wanted to go...slow and just hangin' or feeling like a rock star and paddling with all my might.  SUP is what you make it.  Anyone of any age can enjoy Stand Up Paddle Boarding.  AND not to mention it's a great workout for your core and who doesn't want to help the ol' abs out?  I know I do!
