Just got listed on Paddling.net as an official location in the Indianapolis area for SUP! It must be official!
This is exciting news but how did all this come to be? It started with just a simple, "Hey! I wanna learn how to Stand Up Paddle Board." I had my reasons as to why I wanted to try this. For starters, SUP looks really cool and I'm all about cool accessories! I thought how cool would it be to drive around Indy with my SUP board on top of my car?? :) Then decided it would be really cool if I actually knew what I was doing! After the first time I got on the board and paddled my first paddle I was hooked. This was awesome! Nature has always had a special place in my heart and this just felt right. I could enjoy all the sights and sounds around me at whatever pace I wanted to go...slow and just hangin' or feeling like a rock star and paddling with all my might. SUP is what you make it. Anyone of any age can enjoy Stand Up Paddle Boarding. AND not to mention it's a great workout for your core and who doesn't want to help the ol' abs out? I know I do!
SO...where does SUP Boards USA fit into this? After I told all the above to my husband, he talked to an old friend who has been doing SUP for a while and thought hey...we could sell boards and inform those in the midwest about SUP. Why not? SO after many conversations and meetings, here we are. So excited about this new adventure!!
